Some of you may remember last year I occasionally took subjects from “The Daily Post” for my blog. Well now their year of daily topics is over, but I still have all the emails in a folder, so occasionally will delve into them for inspiration… I just found this title and thought I’d use it 🙂
There is a skill I’ve wanted to learn for a while now, and so maybe you can give me some advice. I’d love to learn Sign Language. But there’s a lot of ways to learn! I’ve found a course at a local college, which seems to start in September so I could start in the autumn (this is obviously the expensive but probably most effective option), or I could get the BSL For Dummies book, or even watch a load of YouTube videos. …Or find a friend who knows it and get them to teach me for free!
I taught myself to fingerspell the alphabet a few years ago, and that’s ok, though trying to follow someone else doing that I need them to go pretty slow – but it’s a start!
